This intensive weekend workshop is an excellent introduction to the most important silver jewellery making skills every jeweller needs.
During the weekend we will work through three projects, a bangle or simple ring, a chain and a sawn pendant, to teach you the soldering, filing, texturing, forging, sawing and polishing techniques that you will need for every future piece of jewellery that you make. We will also discuss the tools and equipment you need to continue with jewellery making at home. You will go home with a great range of skills and a beautiful new set of jewellery!
Only 5 places are available to ensure that everyone gets the help and attention they need. Under 16 year olds are welcome but will need to be accompanied by a paying adult. The workshop is open to all levels of experience but is particularly suited to beginners or those wishing to refresh their skills after a break.
Tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes are included in the workshop fee, but lunch is not provided.
This workshop can be paid for in two installments of £90 by arrangement, with the balance paid a month before the class.
