Adam Carter-Groves

Adam (theUncommon) is a game designer and developer, who works with both digital and analogue game designs. Most notably, he has created the children’s game, Slye’s Lost Words, a self-generating word search used on Shakespeare’s Globe Trust’s Playground site. He has also worked as a designer and Unity developer for Project M Studio, helping them create Dig That Gold, released on iOS late last year.

Currently, his main focus is creating Crowd Control, a large-scale interactive multiplayer game in which around 25 players sit on specially designed chairs with pressure sensors built in to detect their movements. He is also working on a physics-based puzzle game, Mantra, which follows the story of the fall of the Aztec empire, and a skating-inspired card game called Line that he is hoping to get funding for via Kickstarter.
